Cheapest Airline Tickets are for the real die hard, money pinching,
cheap folks that will have green on their fingers when they die because
they only go after the cheapest fares, deals, discounts and airline
ticket prices that they can find. Some people will not travel
unless they really feel that they are getting the absolute cheapest
airline tickets for the flights they want. You may think this is
crazy, but, we all seem to know some of these people.
So, how do people find the cheapest or lowest prices for airline
tickets. They start shopping early and they usually book when
fares first come out or when the trend seems to be on their side. You
will not see these people booking anything within the last month or so
of the flight because they know that the airlines are then raising their
rates because their inventory of unsold seats is diminishing.
I like to save money just like most of you and I also enjoy my life and
spending time doing things I like with my wife and family. This
allows me to try and find the best deals that I can find that I am
comfortable with and then book it.
I also want to save money so I
book out as far as possible and also watch the booking and price trends
to see if they are going up or down. What I do not do is go crazy
about the finding the absolute cheapest airline ticket available because
this can drive you crazy.
Finding the cheapest anything will usually be a lost cause, but, finding
the cheapest airline ticket, well, you at least have a chance of
success. Somebody on the plane you are sitting in found and
bought the cheapest airline ticket for that flight.
The pricing
policies of the airlines are chaotic at best and a real mess at the
other end. There might be ten to twenty different prices that
tickets sold for on the same flight you are on. The reason is the
inventory and who booked early and who booked in the middle and who
booked near take off.
Once again, for the best shot at finding the cheapest airline tickets on
any flights, you need to book out as far as you can. The airlines
will usually let you buy tickets up to nine months out or so, give or
take.
Then sign up for specials and discounts to be emailed to you
by the airlines, and you then have a chance to be the cheapest ticket on
that flight. The funny thing is, you will never know if you paid
the less or not. That type of ticket pricing and information is
not published to the public and flying population.
Just remember, if you find a fare that fits your mental budget, take it
and be happy. Trying to find a lower fare could get you in a
position that you loose the sure thing that you just found.
Cheapest Airline tickets are fun to play, but, make sure that you get
the ticket at a good and decent price and be happy and on your way.
The pricing on airline tickets can go up and down quickly, so, when you
find that the trend is down and you are finding tickets that fit your
budget and schedule, book it and be glad that you know how to save
money.
